...and so I came up with the idea of making my artwork more accessible to everyone and bring a little calm, joy, and beauty into daily life, to make every day just a little better.
After freelancing in architecture for 20 years as the kids were growing up, I decided to pursue art, my lifetime passion. I immediately wanted to be able to bring affordable and useable art to everyday life.
With the surprise financial help of a childhood friend, I was able to invest in dye sublimation equipment and so it began.
After printing on many products over the years, from mousepads to mugs, I decided I had to concentrate on one product to stay focused and chose tiles.
A few years ago, Elvira Para Art Tiles™ was trade marked.
My inspiration comes from the chaos and beauty in nature, as well as the organized structures we human beings create out of this beautiful chaos.
